Funeral Plans

The funeral directors services which are guaranteed to be covered as set out in your plan include:-

• Professional services
• Removal of deceased within 20 mile radius to funeral home
• Care of the deceased and use of chapel of rest (excludes embalming)
• Family viewing during office hours
• Help and guidance on all funeral arrangement including certification and registration of death documents
• Traditional furnished coffin
• Hearse and one limousine funeral vehicles

Third party costs which are not guaranteed and could incur extra charges at time of funeral include:-

• Crematorium fee
• Clergy or officiant fee
• Cemetery fee
• Purchase of new burial lair
• Hire of church fee
• Hire of organist fee
• Memorial headstone or  ashes casket
• Floral tributes
• Newspaper announcements
• Funeral teas

Once your plan is paid for,the plan is guaranteed to cover the funeral directors services in your plan.

Your money is paid into the golden charter trust fund and it is expected that growth and maturity of the trust fund will cover any additional third party costs that may be chargeable at time of need due to inflation and price increases outwith the funeral directors control.
